It has been used for thousands of years in Eastern Medicine. I use it in the evening to clear out the pollen and city grime which accumulates during the day. I have found using it in the shower is easiest. Another solution to use with your pot is to mix in the water a tiny bit, just s few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide to kill germs. Yes it has a slight stinging sensation. I have found it to be extremely beneficial, especially if I "coming down" with a cold or nasal congestion. Peace!
