Thanks for your comment -I thought the info was really interesting too!  

The studies only tested the extract from black elderberry but the tea made from elderberry flowers is thought to have antiviral activity too.  

The extract is also is standardized whereas it is difficult to judge the amount of elderberry in the tea.

Just a side note -elderberry extract is also expected to help treat cold sores!</description>
